The Pittsburgh
Youth Chamber Orchestra (PYCO) Junior Brass Ensemble is a newly
formed group, allowing young brass players grades 6, 7 and 8 an
opportunity to experience quality brass ensemble playing in a
friendly and fun setting.
Rehearsals begin at 1:00 PM Sundays just prior to the PYCO full
rehearsal. Students in the Junior Brass Ensemble are introduced
to exciting brass music, rehearsing together from 1:00 PM to 2:00
PM.
The Junior Brass Ensemble will then have the opportunity to perform
at the PYCO concerts, and will be invited to join in side-by-side
for a piece with the full orchestra. |
