April 19, 2026 Concert and Rehearsal Schedule

1) The concerts will all take place at PYCO School of Music Recital Hall, 150 Lake Dr. Suite 103 Wexford, PA 15090

The Ensemble Showcase schedule is:

  • 12:30 pm - Junior String Orchestra
  • 1:00 pm - Junior Wind Symphony
  • 1:30 pm - Chamber String Orchestra
  • 2:00 pm - PYCO Wind Symphony
  • 7:30 pm - Youth & Adult Jazz Ensembles
2) CALL TIMES FOR ALL ENSEMBLES (please arrive no later than these times so that we can accommodate all soundcheck rehearsals):

  • 12:00 pm - Junior String Orchestra
  • 12:30 pm - Junior Wind Symphony
  • 1:00 pm - Chamber String Orchestra
  • 1:30 pm - PYCO Wind Symphony
  • 7:00 pm - Youth & Adult Jazz Ensembles
Students will arrive through the front lobby and go to Room 203 where they will warm up, rehearse, and store cases.

3) Please have your student arrive in concert attire. The required concert attire can be found on the website HERE.

4) Musicians: Remember to bring your music, instrument, and any accessories you need for your instrument. For example: extra reeds, mouthpiece, shoulder rest, endpin strap or rockstop, etc.

5) Also on April 19th, we will use this day to have a short combined ensemble rehearsal of "Don't Stop Me Now" at 2:45 - 3:15 pm, which will be the all-ensembles combined finale of our Heinz Hall Concert.
  • Students who perform earlier in the day are welcome to leave with parents and return for rehearsal, or stay at PYCO until the rehearsal.
  • Call Time for all PYCO Symphony Orchestra members and anyone arriving for this combined rehearsal is 2:30 pm

6.) After the combined rehearsal, the PYCO Symphony Orchestra and Symphony Strings will rehearse at their normal times. These members do not need to be dressed in concert attire.

7.) The PYCO Youth and Adult Jazz Ensemble Concert will take place at 7:30 PM. Call time for members is 7:00.

8) Friends and family are welcome to attend. Seating is limited, so we do encourage audience members to exit the recital hall after their student's ensemble performs.
