2025 Concerto Competition |
PYCO is pleased to announce the 2025 Concerto Competition! The competition is open to all PYCO Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Symphony Strings students, and the winner will perform as a soloist with an ensemble during our 2026 Winter Concert on Sunday, February 22nd at Ingomar United Methodist Church.
Repertoire must be approved prior to auditioning. Students should prepare a movement from a concerto or another piece/arrangement featuring your instrument as a soloist with an ensemble. Repertoire suggestions are available upon request. The completed application below, as well as the non-refundable application fee MUST be submitted no later than Friday, November 21, 2025. The competition will be held at the PYCO School of Music on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
