February 15th & 16th Concert Information
Please review the important information below in preparation for the upcoming concerts.
CHAMBER WOODWINDS

JUNIOR STRINGS, CHAMBER STRINGS,
JUNIOR WIND ENSEMBLE, & PYCO ORCHESTRA CONCERTS Sunday, February 16th |
1) The concert will take place at our rehearsal home, PYCO School of Music, 150 Lake Drive, Suite 103, Wexford, PA 15090. The concert will begin at 5 pm.
2) CALL TIME is 4:15 pm for both Chamber Woodwinds and Chamber Brass (students should arrive no later than this time). 3) Please have your child arrive in concert attire. The required concert attire can be found on the website HERE. 4) We rely heavily on our young musicians and their families to help us promote concerts and events. Please invite your friends and family members, and share our Facebook event page! 5) Please consider supporting your fellow PYCO family members from other ensembles and refrain from leaving the concert early. All of our students have worked hard and would love to share what they prepared with everyone in attendance. We would be greatly appreciative if parents and students do not leave after their own performance before the end of the concert. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. |
1) The concert and dress rehearsals will all take place at Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Road, Allison Park, PA 15101.
Junior Strings, Chamber Strings, and Junior Wind Ensemble will perform in the 3 pm concert. The PYCO Orchestra will perform in the 6 pm concert. 2) CALL TIMES (please arrive no later than these times so that we can accommodate all dress rehearsals): 12:30 pm - PERCUSSION students in Jr. Wind Ensemble 1:00 pm - Jr. Strings 1:15 pm - Chamber Strings 1:45 pm - Jr. Wind Ensemble 4:15 pm - PYCO Orchestra All students should enter at the main entrance of the church and will be directed from there. 3) Please have your child arrive in concert attire. The required concert attire can be found on the website HERE. 4) Musicians: Remember to bring your music, instrument, and any accessories you need for your instrument. For example: extra reeds, mouthpiece, shoulder rest, endpin strap or rockstop, etc. 5) No food or drinks will be allowed in the Sanctuary of the church. If needed, students may bring a snack to eat in the lobby. 6) Bake Sale: Please bring 2 dozen cookies (or dessert item of your choice) for us to sell at the concert. All proceeds support the many programs that PYCO offers. You may drop off your item in the lobby. Thank you! 7) We are looking for volunteers to help at the concerts on Sunday.
