PYCO 2018 Summer Camp Concert
Friday, June 29th at Noon

We are so grateful for everyone's hard work and dedication toward getting ready for Friday's camp concert. It's going to be a great show! Please read through the following important information and contact us at info@pyco.org if you have any questions.

  • Friday, please arrive at the normal 8:30-8:45 am time, in concert attire. Don't forget to bring your lunch for the final day of camp.

  • Please bring a dozen cookies or dessert item of your choice to share at a reception for all students, staff, family and friends immediately following the concert.

  • The camp concert will take place at noon at the camp location, St. Paul's United Methodist Church (1965 Ferguson Road, Allison Park, PA 15101). Don't forget to invite your family and friends!

  • Concert attire: Dress for the camp concert should be "dress clothing" as you deem appropriate. We ask that you try to avoid jeans, tennis shoes and t-shirts. Formal attire is not necessary. (We like colors!)

  • After the concert, all students should leave their folder and music on their stand.

​PYCO 2018 Summer Camp Update
Water Balloon Toss Tomorrow & Cookies/Dessert Needed for Friday
We hope everyone had a great first day at the summer camp and look forward to having a fantastic rest of the week!
 
We wanted to let everyone know that we are planning to do the water balloon tossing contest on Tuesday, June 26th. Students should dress accordingly if they'd like to participate, and please feel free to bring a change of clothes and/or a towel if you would like.

Also, on Friday we'd like to celebrate the end of camp after the concert with a dessert reception. Please bring a dozen cookies or a dessert item of your choice to share on Friday. Don't forget to invite family and friends! The concert begins at noon.

​Welcome to the PYCO 2018 Summer Orchestra & Wind Ensemble Camp!

​​​The directors, coaches, and staff of the PYCO Summer Orchestra & Wind Ensemble Camp are gearing up for the start of camp this coming Monday, June 25th. We have many exciting activities planned for you, and we hope it will be a rewarding and fun experience for all. Contact us at info@pyco.org if you have any questions.

  • On Monday, plan to arrive no later than 8:30 am. Enter through the main entrance and check in at the registration desk where you will be given your folder and pencil. Then you will be directed to the Sanctuary where there will be a student orientation starting at 8:45 am.
 
  • Camp music will be given out on Monday. Part assignments (for example, violin 1 or violin 2, trumpet 1 or trumpet 2, percussion parts, etc.) will also be determined by the camp coaches on Monday.
 
  • Please plan to drop off your student daily between 8:30 am and no later than 8:45 am so everyone can get unpacked, tuned and ready to begin at 9:00 am. If you need early drop-off or late pick-up, there is a $10 per hour fee. Early drop-off time can be no earlier than 7:30 am, and late pick-up time can be no later than 2:00 pm. Please contact us if you will need early drop-off or late pick-up any day during camp.
 
  • Please follow the St. Paul's UMC parking lot guidelines which can be found HERE.
 
  • Don't forget to bring a lunch every day. PYCO will not be providing lunch or snacks.
 
  • Weather permitting, we will have a water balloon toss on Tuesday, June 26th during recreational activity time. Students should dress accordingly if they'd like to participate, and please feel free to bring a change of clothes and/or a towel if you would like.
 
  • It is not necessary to bring a music stand, one will be provided for your use.

  • Reminder: tuition paid in full is due at this time. If you have not already done so, please send a check to PYCO at 150 Lake Drive, Suite 103, Wexford, PA 15090, make a payment online, or bring it with you to camp.
 
  • Thank you to our volunteer camp mentors who will be playing along and helping during the week! If you know anyone else who would like to join us as a mentor, have them email us at info@pyco.org.
